This website is a marketing page for the SEODesktop application. It does not require an account, does not process payments, and does not collect personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the site.

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website.

The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its performance obligations and follow our instructions with respect to this data.

4. General notes and mandatory information

Data protection. The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

7. Data collection on this website

Cookies. Our website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary technical storage required to operate the site may be used; this processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

Server log files. When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website; for this purpose, server log files must be recorded. Log data is retained only as long as technically required and then deleted.

Request by email or phone. If you contact us by email or phone, your inquiry and all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) if this was requested. The data will remain with us until you request deletion or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular statutory retention periods, remain unaffected.

8. Third-party services

Download links. Download buttons on this site link to a third-party release host. When you click such a link, the respective host may process your request (including IP address and technical connection data) according to its own privacy policy. Use of these links is based on our legitimate interest in distributing the desktop application (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Release metadata. The site fetches release metadata server-side from our release host. No cookies or personal data are sent on your behalf. No analytics, trackers, advertising pixels or third-party cookies are used on this website.

9. The desktop application

The SEODesktop application is separate software that you install on your own machine. It communicates with DataForSEO (and optionally with AI providers you configure) using credentials you supply. Your data and API keys remain on your machine. This privacy policy does not apply to processing that takes place inside the installed application; please refer to the application's own documentation for its data handling.

10. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g., when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
