Keyword Research

The Keyword Research view wraps DataForSEO's entire keyword-data stack into a single inspector. Paste a keyword, paste a list, or start from a seed — the app returns volume, trends, difficulty, intent, demographics and related ideas in one view.

What you get

Core metrics

  • Search volume (monthly, 12-month history)
  • Trend — line chart of volume over time
  • CPC — average paid-search cost per click
  • Competition — Google Ads advertiser density
  • Keyword difficulty (KD) — organic difficulty score 0–100
  • Search intent — informational / navigational / transactional / commercial

Related ideas

  • Keyword suggestions — lexical matches (phrase match)
  • Keyword ideas — semantically related
  • Questions — "how to", "what is", "why does" variants
  • Related keywords — co-occurring terms on ranking pages

Demographics

  • Gender breakdown
  • Age breakdown
  • Geographic distribution (country or city level)

How to run a query

  1. Sidebar → Keyword Research.
  2. Pick the mode:
    • Single keyword — deep inspector view
    • Bulk — paste up to 1,000 keywords for volume + KD
    • Ideas from seed — enter a seed, get hundreds of related ideas
  3. Set country and language.
  4. Click Run.

Results are tabbed — Overview, Ideas, Questions, SERP, Demographics — and every table is exportable.

Keyword clustering (with AI)

The clustering tool takes a long keyword list and groups it into topic clusters using an LLM. Output is a nested view: topic → subtopic → keyword, with each cluster labeled.

This is the backbone of a pillar/cluster content strategy — instead of 500 disconnected targets, you get 15–30 topical clusters you can turn into content briefs.
